Program Update (Fall 2024): We are accepting applications as of September 20th. Students and postdocs may apply to receive retroactive funding if their opportunity happened to occur between July 1 and September 20, 2024.

Updates for the 2024-25 IPS program:
The IPS program is accepting applications for the following types of experiences through June 30, 2025: Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars are encouraged to apply for these grants to support opportunities including, but not limited to: Awards are for a maximum of $1,200/applicant. Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Priority will be given to applicants who have not received an IPS grant before.

Several of our funding sources are related to specific funding priorities so if any of the following pertain to you, please make mention of this in your application: The IPS program is a collaboration between the Professional Development Series (PDS) at the Center for Science and Engineering Partnerships; the Graduate Division; the UCSB Innovation and Entrepreneurship initiative and CNSI; Career Services; UCSB SACNAS Career Pathways Program via DoD HBCU/MI award W911NF-20-1-0294; UCSB Quantum Foundry; UCSB's divisional deans; and external donors.
